The fish below can be classed as "Monster Fish", also called "Tank Busters". Why? They will all get over 61cm (24"), some as much as 101.6-152.4cm (40-60") plus, as adults and will need exceptionally large and specialist housing, therefore not suitable for the average home aquarium. Be wary, several of these are seen in aquatic stores as small 10.2-15.2cm (4-6") juveniles, but will outgrow average housing! Most of the fish listed here are freshwater, but some may also be brackish or marine.
